We’ve been shortlisted for three of the 2021 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards for Best Large Development, Best Off-Plan Development and Best Use of Interactive Tools!
The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards are some of the most acclaimed in the property industry and are a fantastic annual celebration of some of the many lengths that are gone to in order to help aspirational buyers on to the property ladder. We couldn’t be prouder to have been recognised for our work at East Wick + Sweetwater with these three shortlists.
From the initial master planning stage, the vision for the neighbourhood has always been about creating a new community in East London, a place for people from all walks of life to come together and where diversity is celebrated through every aspect of the project.
Our residents have been thought about in everything we do. Within phase one, a wide range of bed types are available to buy outright or through Shared Ownership, from 1 to 3-bedroom apartments, 2 to 3-bedroom duplexes and 3 to 4-bedroom townhouses. Homes offer different orientations, views, and sizes, different price points and 125 different layouts, meaning apartments are rarely replicated, creating a unique living environment and individuality. Thanks to the wide mix of tenures, there is also the option to rent first to try out the area before committing to a purchase. Some of EW+S’ buyers have been renting here until completion of their new home – a real testament to the success the new neighbourhood.
Shared Ownership apartments have been designed with the same specification as open market sale homes, making staircasing to full home ownership even more appealing. In phase one as well as future phases, three-bedroom apartments and townhouses will be available, allowing first time buyers to scale up to larger properties within the neighbourhood.
Each home is highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly, helping to keep costs low for owners. An Open Fibre Network infrastructure brings fibre to the door of all homes and electric car charging bays have been installed in car parks to cater for increasingly popular hybrid and electric vehicles. As the project continues, further commercial, retail and community spaces will be built, helping to create a vibrant, self-sufficient neighbourhood.
For those interested in renting or buying here, we’ve created a highly interactive, digital user experience on our website, centred around our 3D virtual world, social media channels and our EW+S Stories series . This digital approach carries all the way through the reservation process done mostly remotely, as well as home ownership after-care with a 24/7 customer portal.
